Site Supervisor

Full-time | Benefits | $24+/hr.

We are looking for a Site Supervisor to join our team of experts. The Site Supervisor will work under the direct supervision of the Production Manager assisting in overseeing the production of the division’s projects, performing onsite construction tasks, ensuring all job sites are properly cleaned and organized, as well as assisting in the delivery and staging of materials and equipment.

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide direct, ongoing assistance to the production manager.
  • Meet with trade partners to allow them access to job sites and discuss scope of work at the production manager’s discretion when they are unavailable.
  • Perform general carpentry such as light framing, punch list work, and deconstruction.
  • Ensure that job sites are all maintained and protected to company standard.
  • Pickup materials and deliver them to job sites.
  • Ensure that correct materials and quantities are delivered to the job sites by confirming via purchase orders.

Job Qualifications and Requirements

  • 2+ years of construction or carpentry experience.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of construction and building science.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Ability to work with a wide variety of power tools.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Proficiency in using a computer and smartphone.
  • Reliable, honest, trustworthy.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to work in adverse weather conditions.
  • Physical Duties and Requirements
  • Requires consistent driving to and from job sites.
  • Requires climbing ladders, scaffolds or stairways.
  • Requires considerable use of arms, legs, and moving the entire body to climb, lift, balance, walk and handle equipment and materials.
  • Requires use of back muscles consistently.
  • Requires repetitive movement of bending, twisting, kneeling, crouching, stooping or crawling.
  • Physical ability to stand, walk, lift and carry items weighing up to 50 lbs. regularly.

Commercial Estimator

Full-time | Benefits | $55,000-$75,000/yr.

We are looking for a Commercial Estimator to join our team of experts. The Commercial Estimator will be responsible for accurately assessing the costs of a project and providing comprehensive estimates to a variety of commercial and other building projects. The Commercial Estimator will be responsible for representing Mulberry Builders at pre-bid meetings to win projects for Mulberry Builders.

Job Responsibilities

  • Identify and compute labor, material, time, and overall project costs by analyzing proposals, blueprints, specifications and other bid documents.
  • Visit project and pre-bid meetings to understand the conditions of a site and understand the overall scope of a project.
  • Responsible for estimating preconstruction responsibilities to the construction team.
  • Collaborate with team members and a variety of stakeholders to successfully bid for jobs on behalf of Mulberry Builders.
  • Regularly prepare bid proposals in accordance to company standard to include cost breakdown, scope, clarification and any exclusions.
  • Ensure compliance with all specifications, contract requirements and bid invitations.
  • Maintain a bid log and actively update for the Mulberry team.
  • Interact on a regular basis with project owners.

  • 3+ years of experience in commercial estimating
