Design Assistant

Full-time | From $20/hr.

We are looking for a Design Assistant to join our team of experts. The Design Assistant will be responsible for working directly with the Designer to meet our clients needs.

Job Responsibilities

  • Relevant coursework and/or experience in the field
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of construction and roofing.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Proficiency in using a computer and smartphone.
  • Reliable, honest, trustworthy.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to work in adverse weather conditions.

Job Qualifications & Requirements

  • High school graduate
  • Car, driver’s license, auto insurance, and safe driving history

  • Ability to plan, organize, and multitask with minimal supervision
  • Minimum 2 years experience in residential design

Physical Duties & Requirements

Remodel Project Manager

Full-time | Benefits | $60,000/yr.

The Remodeling Project Manager oversees and manages all aspects of a remodeling and restoration project from pre-construction through project completion and collection of the final payment. In general, this is accomplished by working with designers, trade partners, vendors, city officials, and the client(s) to ensure the project is completed per specifications, on time, and within budget.

Job Responsibilities

  • Prepare and oversee the project(s) construction timeline
  • Prepare construction schedule and timelines prior to project start
  • Ensure trade partners are scheduled in advance to ensure no lapse in progress
  • Ensure materials are ready in advance of install
  • Oversee day to day operations on site to ensure timelines are being met
  • Coordinate access to site with client(s) as needed
  • Jobsite meetings
  • Meet with subcontractors to discuss their scope of work and ensure adequate understanding of plans, specifications, and requirements
  • Meet with designers on site to discuss implementation of design elements
  • Meet with client(s) on site to discuss progress, details, concerns, etc.
  • Meet with building inspectors
  • Material management
  • Ensure the proper materials are on site prior to install date
  • Set up delivery or self deliver materials to site when needed
  • Set up the return of unused materials when applicable
  • Trade partner management
  • Ensure trade partners are on site when needed / required
  • Ensure the work performed by trade partners is performed to the expected quality and matches the scope of work and details of the contract and design
  • Financials
  • Ensure project is built on budget by adhering to the project estimate and pre-construction budget
  • Determine necessary resources (manpower, equipment, and materials) from start to finish with consideration of budgetary limitations
  • Prepare and collect payment for change orders
  • Discuss budget with client(s) throughout the project to keep them advised of any changes / overages in the budget
  • Properly code all receipts and invoices and turn them in to the office manager on a weekly basis
  • Project progress / documentation
  • Ensure the progress of the project is in line with the pre-construction timeline
  • Update project schedule as needed using the CRM
  • Prepare daily logs using the CRM
  • Send a weekly update to each client(s) giving them an update of the work that was recently performed and the work that is next to be performed
  • Ensure all paperwork pertaining to a project is uploaded into the CRM and on site for crews
  • Client acquisition
  • Go on lead calls with design team to meet with client(s) to discuss their project wants and needs
  • Prepare estimates
  • Jobsite safety and cleanliness
  • Ensure dust containment systems are set up and in operation
  • Ensure trash and debris does not accumulate on job sites and the job sites are cleaned and organized regularly
  • Ensure all workers and vendors are adhering to safety procedures and guidelines while on site

Roofing & Exterior Sales Representative

Full-time | Benefits | From $27,000/yr. | Bonus/Commission Opportunities

We are looking for a Roofing and Exterior Sales Representative to join our team of experts. The Roofing and Exterior Sales Representative will be responsible for selling roof replacement, roof repair, deck, and other exterior projects. In general, this is accomplished by selling to company provided leads, as well as working to establish your own lead pipeline. The Roofing and Exterior Sales Representative will be responsible for working closely with property owners and insurance adjusters to satisfy our customers needs.

Job Responsibilities

  • Generate leads through the use of a variety of outlets.
  • Conduct damage assessments and communicate the results to property owners.
  • Work with property owners and insurance adjusters on a consistent basis.
  • Prepare contracts using a Mulberry Builders contract template based on the scope of work.
  • Collaborate with clients and potential clients to understand their roofing needs and provide solutions.
  • Actively pursue residential restoration roofing sales in situations of storm-damaged neighborhoods
  • Discuss Mulberry Builder’s processes, our company, and what sets us apart from the competition.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in order to continually enhance your skills and knowledge
  • Communicate all necessary information to the property owner, and to the company so that the customers needs are met satisfactorily.

  • 2+ years of experience in roofing sales.
